Senate Roll Call 404
119th Congress · Session 1 · July 16, 2025
A vote on one change, not on the bill. A bill can collect dozens of these, and losing one does not stop it.
What was being voted on
119-SAMDT-2887 — To strike the rescission of funds appropriated for the Feed the Future Program to improve global food security and agricultural resiliency and support agriculture research that benefits United States agribusinesses and universities.
SA 2887, proposed by Mr. Booker, aims to change the amount of budget authority being rescinded in a previous amendment to bill H.R. 4. The amendment changes the rescinded amount from $2,500,000,000 to $1,714,200,000. It adds a requirement that at least $785,800,000 of the remaining funds be used for food security and agricultural development programs under section 7060(d) of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2024.
