What this bill would do

This bill, titled the "Rosie the Riveter Commemorative Coin Act," directs the Secretary of the Treasury to mint and issue commemorative coins. These coins honor the diverse women who contributed to the Home Front during World War II. The collection includes $5 gold coins, $1 silver coins, and half-dollar clad coins. The designs will be selected in consultation with the Rosie the Riveter Trust and the Commission of Fine Arts. Issuance is authorized for a one-year period starting January 1, 2028.
