What this bill would do

The "Right to Contraception Act" establishes a statutory right for individuals to access and engage in contraception without coercion. It also grants health care providers the right to provide contraceptives, information, and related services. The bill aims to prevent any government limitation or requirement from singling out or impeding access to these services. This Act supersedes existing state and federal laws, including the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993. It provides for enforcement through civil actions by the Attorney General or private individuals.
