What this bill would do

This bill requires the United States Postal Service to continue selling the Alzheimer's semipostal stamp. The extension will last for a 6-year period. This period begins on the date the Postal Service would have otherwise stopped selling the stamp. The goal is to provide a convenient way for the public to fund medical research for Alzheimer's disease. All money collected from these stamp sales will be transferred to the National Institutes of Health. These payments must be made at least two times per year.
