What this bill would do
This Act, known as the ``Sloan Canyon Conservation and Lateral Pipeline Act'', amends the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area Act. It adjusts the boundary of the Conservation Area by updating the official map and increasing the total acreage. Additionally, the bill directs the Secretary of the Interior to grant specific rights-of-way to the Southern Nevada Water Authority. These rights-of-way are for water pipeline infrastructure, powerlines, facilities, and access roads. The bill also addresses the excavation and disposal of materials related to water pipeline construction.
