What this bill would do
The "Seized Iranian Arms Transfer Authorization Act of 2025" (or "SEIZE Act of 2025") allows the President to treat weapons or materiel seized during transit from Iran to the Houthis in Yemen as United States stocks. It amends the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 to let the President provide these seized stocks to foreign partners. The President must also provide reports to Congress every year detailing how this authority is used and providing inventories of the materials.
