Down East Remembrance Act

This bill, known as the Down East Remembrance Act, aims to honor lives lost in a plane crash in Carteret County, North Carolina, on February 13, 2022. It seeks to designate six specific creeks in North Carolina with specific names. These include Noah Styron Creek, Hunter Parks Creek, Kole McInnis Creek, Stephanie Fulcher Creek, Jacob Taylor Creek, and Daily Shepherd Creek. The bill provides specific geographic coordinates for each creek. It also ensures that all official United States references to these creeks are updated to reflect the new names.
