What this bill would do
This bill, known as the "All Access Act of 2025," aims to provide Members of Congress with access to federal buildings. Under this act, a Member of the House of Representatives or a Senator can enter any public building by showing specific identification. Identification must be issued by the Clerk or Sergeant at Arms for House Members, or by the Secretary or Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper for Senators. Access is permitted during regular business hours without prior notice. If a Member wishes to enter outside of these hours, they must notify the head of the entity at least 12 hours in advance.
