What this bill would do

This joint resolution officially renames the Robert E. Lee Memorial as the Arlington House National Historic Site. The site is owned and administered by the National Park Service. Under the resolution, any official reference in laws, regulations, maps, documents, papers, or records of the United States to the site will now be considered a reference to the Arlington House National Historic Site. Finally, the resolution repeals the earlier joint resolutions from June 29, 1955, and June 30, 1972, that previously dedicated the memorial.
