What this amendment would do

SA 3596 is an amendment proposed by Mr. Durbin and several other members to be added to bill S. 2296.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a new section, SEC. 1067, which prohibits the Department of Defense from using any funds authorized by the Act to give non-reimbursable support to the Department of Homeland Security for immigration enforcement activities.
