What this amendment would do

SA 3374, submitted by Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Banks, is an amendment to bill S. 2296. This bill focuses on military activities for the Department of Defense, military construction, and defense activities for the Department of Energy for fiscal year 2026.

The purpose of this amendment is to extend the War Reserves Stockpile Authority. It does this by changing the date in Section 12001(d) of the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2005, from January 1, 2027, to January 1, 2029.
