What this amendment would do

SA 3167, submitted by Ms. Cortez Masto and Mr. Rounds, aims to change how the default rate for the Export-Import Bank of the United States is calculated.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a section that excludes certain financing from that calculation. Specifically, if the Bank determines that financing was provided under the Program on China and Transformational Exports, any entity in default from that financing will not be included in the calculated rate.
