What this amendment would do

  • Submitted by Ms. Cortez Masto as SA 2405 to the bill H.R. 1.

  • Requires the Secretary of the Treasury (or their delegate) to submit a report not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.

  • The report must go to the Committee on Finance of the Senate and the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives.

  • The report must contain an analysis of any legal authority within Federal law that allows for the buying or selling of tax credits issued to Native American tribal governments.
