What this amendment would do

Mr. Kaine submitted amendment SA 2376 to the bill H.R. 1.
The amendment proposes to strike everything beginning on page 499, line 4, through page 579, line 16, and insert a new section titled Adjustment to Corporate Tax Rate.
It aims to change the corporate tax rate in Section 11(b) from 21 percent to 25 percent.
The change is set to apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025.
