What this bill would do
This bill, titled the "Small Business Regulatory Reduction Act," directs the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to manage costs related to rulemaking. Specifically, it requires that the small business regulatory budget for a small business concern in any fiscal year is not greater than 0. This requirement begins in fiscal year 2026 and continues every year thereafter. The Administrator must also submit an annual report to Congress regarding rules from other Federal agencies that impact small business concerns. These reports must list each rule and be broken down by the agency that issued it. No additional funds are authorized to implement this Act.
