What this bill would do
The "Food Eligibility for Education and Development Act of 2025" or "FEED Act of 2025" amends the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008. It changes how eligibility is determined by excluding certain income for specific students. This applies to students under age 21 in career and technical education who live with a parent or someone with parental control. The excluded income must come from apprenticeships, internships, or work-based learning programs. The Secretary will establish procedures to verify these requirements.
