What this bill would do

The Federal Employee Return to Work Act aims to change how certain employees receive pay. It targets "covered employees" who telework at least one day a week or a specific percentage of their schedule. These employees would be prohibited from receiving certain annual pay adjustments. Additionally, their pay would be set to the "Rest of U.S." locality rate. These changes would not be subject to certain adjustments. The Act takes effect on the first day of the first full fiscal year after it is passed.
