What this bill would do
The Haiti Criminal Collusion Transparency Act of 2025 requires the Secretary of State to submit reports regarding the connections between criminal gangs and political and economic elites in Haiti. These reports must identify prominent gangs, their activities, and the specific elites linked to them. Following these reports, the President is directed to impose sanctions on identified individuals. Sanctions include blocking property and denying entry or visas to the United States. The Act includes exceptions to ensure humanitarian assistance can still reach the people of Haiti.
