The designated area covers specific counties including Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Livingston, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, and Yates. The Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance is named as the local coordinating entity for this area. The bill requires the local coordinating entity to submit a proposed management plan to the Secretary of the Interior within 3 years of the enactment of the Act.
