What this bill would do
This bill aims to transfer administrative jurisdiction of specific federal land parcels in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Approximately 25 acres will be transferred from the Secretary of the Interior to the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to be used for an Advanced Training Center. Conversely, approximately 71.51 acres will be transferred from the Commissioner to the Secretary to be administered as part of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The bill includes provisions for adjusting park boundaries to accommodate these changes. It also establishes a process where land may revert to the Secretary if it is no longer needed by Customs and Border Protection.
