What this bill would do

This bill, known as the ``Albert Pike Statue Removal Act'', directs the Secretary of the Interior to remove the statue honoring Albert Pike located near Judiciary Square in the District of Columbia. The removal is to be carried out through the Director of the National Park Service. Additionally, the Secretary has the authority to donate the statue to a museum or similar entity. This donation is intended to ensure the statue is preserved and interpreted within an indoor setting. If a recipient displays the statue outside, ownership reverts to the Federal Government.
