What this bill would do
The ``Grant Integrity and Border Security Act'' requires any individual or entity applying for a Federal grant to submit a certification regarding their compliance with section 274(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Under this bill, applicants must certify they have not violated, are not currently violating, and will not violate this specific section during the grant term. Agency heads are directed to withhold funds from any grantee found to be in violation of these requirements. This determination can be based on information from the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, or employees who admit to or are convicted of violations. Additionally, the Attorney General is tasked with submitting information regarding such violations to the Director.
