What this bill would do
This bill is called the No Fencing at the United States Capitol Complex Act. It stops the use of Federal money to put up new permanent fencing around the United States Capitol, any Capitol Buildings, or the Capitol Grounds. However, the bill does not stop people from fixing or replacing fencing that was already there when this act became law. Our elected officials introduced this to keep federal funds from going toward these specific new installations. As your legislative analyst, I want to make sure you know how your tax dollars are restricted under this text.
