What this bill would do
This bill is called the Safeguarding Taxpayer Investment for Executive Airlift Act of 2026. It stops the use of funds from the fiscal year 2027 Department of Defense budget to sell, donate, or transfer any aircraft from the VC-25B Bridge program outside of the Department of the Air Force. Simply put, our elected officials are being asked to vote on keeping these specific aircraft safely within the Air Force rather than giving or selling them away. It is our job to watch how they handle these taxpayer investments.
