What this amendment would do

Mrs. Blackburn submitted this amendment to protect the rights of our public colleges and universities. The main purpose is to make sure that nothing in the bill waives, gets rid of, changes, or limits the sovereign immunity rights that a public institution of higher education has under the law.

What It Aims to Change
