S.Amdt. 6811

Mr. Kennedy put forward this amendment to make sure that the people we vote into office and the groups running college sports cannot escape past, current, or future legal troubles.

• This addition says that nothing in the act lets an intercollegiate athletic association, a conference, or an institution off the hook for liability.
• This rule applies to liability incurred before, on, or after the date the act is enacted.
• There is only one exception to this rule, which is that it does not apply to the antitrust exemptions found under subsections (a) and (b).
