What this amendment would do

SA 6452, submitted by Mr. Banks, is an amendment to bill S. 4784. This bill deals with appropriations for fiscal year 2027 regarding military activities of the Department of Defense, military construction, and defense activities of the Department of Energy.

The purpose of this amendment is to expand the eligibility of veterans for a certain military adaptive sports program. Specifically, it aims to change Section 2564a of title 10, United States Code, by making the following change:

  • Strike the phrase "one-year period" and replace it with "two-year period".
