S.Amdt. 6134

SA 6134, submitted by Ms. Warren, Ms. Cortez Masto, and Mr. Moran, aims to add a new section to bill S. 4784.

The purpose of this amendment is to withhold a portion of funding for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness.

• It states that no more than 90 percent of the funds for fiscal year 2027 for this office can be spent or obligated until a specific requirement is met.
• The requirement is for the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Education to jointly finish the data matching process required under section 559B of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025.
