S.Amdt. 5868

SA 5868, submitted by Mr. Cornyn and Mr. Coons, aims to expand how the Ukraine Support Fund can be used.

The amendment proposes to add a new provision to the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act. Specifically, it adds a permissible use for the fund:

• Purchases by the Government of Ukraine of defense articles and services to respond to and recover from the consequences of the aggression of the Russian Federation.
