What this amendment would do

SA 5832, submitted by Ms. Klobuchar and others, aims to change the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

  • Update the definition of "active duty military consumer" to "armed forces member consumer".
  • Define an "armed forces member consumer" as any consumer who is a member of the armed forces, regardless of their duty status.
