What this amendment would do

SA 5792, submitted by Mr. PADILLA, aims to add a new section to the bill titled "PROHIBITING IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS THAT INVOLVE THE USE OF CHILDREN AS PAWNS."

The purpose of this amendment is to stop the use of funds from this Act or any other Act by Federal, State, or local agencies for immigration enforcement operations that use children as pawns, which includes using them to lure out family members.
