The purpose of this amendment is to stop Federal, State, or local agencies from using funds from the Act for immigration enforcement operations in the following industries:

Agriculture
Restaurant
Hospitality

There is one exception to this rule: enforcement operations are allowed if they exclusively target violent criminals.
