What this amendment would do

SA 5761, submitted by Mr. Padilla, is an amendment to SA 5453 regarding bill S. 2.

The purpose of this amendment is to prohibit the use of funds from this Act or Public Law 119-21 to allow Department of Homeland Security officers or employees to enter a home without:

Consent
A warrant issued by a neutral and detached judge or judicial officer of a United States District Court judicial official.

The amendment specifically states that this does not include U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Form I-200 or Form I-205.
