What this amendment would do

SA 5595, submitted by Mr. Kaine, aims to add two specific provisions to bill S. 2:

  • It prohibits the Department of Justice from implementing a settlement agreement announced on May 18, 2026, which establishes the Anti-Weaponization Fund.
