What this amendment would do

This amendment proposed by Mr. Kaine aims to add two specific provisions to bill S. 2:

Prohibition of Fund: It stops the Department of Justice from implementing a settlement agreement from May 18, 2026, that would create the Anti-Weaponization Fund.
Funding for Health Care: It provides $1,000,000,000 to the Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration for fiscal year 2026. These funds are for the rural health care services outreach program and stay available until September 30, 2029.
