What this amendment would do

SA 5389, submitted by Mr. Kelly, aims to add a new section to title III of S. Con. Res. 33.

The purpose of this amendment is to create a deficit-neutral reserve fund to support legislation related to protecting military families.

  • This includes potential legislation that would stop the use of Federal funds for the forced removal and detention of noncitizen spouses of military veterans or United States servicemembers.
