What this amendment would do

SA 5388, submitted by Ms. SMITH, is an amendment to S. Con. Res. 33. This resolution sets the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2026 and the budgetary levels for fiscal years 2027 through 2035.

The purpose of this amendment is to change specific dollar amounts within the bill as follows:

  • Increases to amounts on page 20 (lines 16, 21, and 25) and page 21 (lines 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20).

  • Decreases to amounts on page 32 (lines 7, 12, 16, and 20) and page 33 (lines 3, 7, and 11).
