What this amendment would do

SA 4923, submitted by Ms. Hirono, aims to add a section to title III of S. Con. Res. 33.

The purpose of this amendment is to create a deficit-neutral reserve fund to deal with housing construction costs that are impacted by workforce immigration enforcement actions.

  • It allows the Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Budget to change committee allocations, aggregates, and other levels in the resolution.
