What this amendment would do
SA 4880, submitted by Ms. Rosen, aims to add a section to title III of the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33.
The purpose of this amendment is to create a deficit-neutral reserve fund for legislation that would require companies using surveillance pricing to disclose that use to consumers.
This change allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to:
- Revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other levels in the resolution.
- Make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for relevant bills, resolutions, amendments, motions, or conference reports.
These adjustments are permitted as long as the legislation does not increase the deficit from fiscal year 2026 through 2035.
