What this amendment would do
SA 4865, submitted by Ms. Rosen, aims to add a new section to title IV of the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33.
The purpose of this amendment is to create a point of order in the Senate. This means it would stop the Senate from considering any:
- Bill
- Joint resolution
- Motion
- Amendment
- Amendment between the Houses
- Conference report
That provides funding to implement an Executive branch action that stops the issuance of automatic extensions for Employment Authorization Documents when a qualified immigrant applies for that extension in a timely manner.
