What this amendment would do

SA 4631 is an amendment proposed by Mr. Kaine and several other members to be added to bill S. 1383.

The purpose of this amendment is to:

Repeal Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 2132), which is the balance-of-payments authority.
Remove the item relating to section 122 from the table of contents for the Trade Act of 1974.
Update Section 127(b) of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 2137(b)) by removing the phrase (and from any action under section 122(c)).
