What this amendment would do

SA 4295, submitted by Mr. Welch, is an amendment to bill H.R. 7148.

The purpose of this amendment is to require the Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to do the following:

  • Republish ICE Directive 19009 in full.
  • Ensure there are no redactions.
  • Reestablish mandatory procedures and protocols regarding the use of force and firearms by ICE employees.
