What this amendment would do

SA 4291, submitted by Mr. Warnock, is an amendment to bill H.R. 7148.

The purpose of this amendment is to stop any funds from being used to change the name of a Department of Defense asset in the State of Georgia.

Specifically, it aims to ensure that any asset name adopted by the commission created under section 370(b) of the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 cannot be changed to any name other than the one that was already adopted.
