What this amendment would do

SA 4264, submitted by Mr. Murphy, aims to add a new section to division H of bill H.R. 7148.

The purpose of this amendment is to require the Secretary of Homeland Security to make the following documents publicly available on the Department of Homeland Security website:

Any request for transfer or reprogramming of funds.
Any final spend plan for the Department of Homeland Security and any of its components.

These documents must be posted no later than 14 days after the final agency action for fiscal year 2026 and every fiscal year after that.
