What this amendment would do

SA 4154, submitted by Ms. Baldwin, aims to change H.R. 6938 by adding a new section to division A.

The purpose of this amendment is to require the Director of the National Science Foundation to reinstate grants or other awards that were cancelled on or after January 20, 2025.

The only exceptions to this reinstatement are grants or awards cancelled because of:

Research fraud
Financial mismanagement
Malfeasance
