What this amendment would do

SA 4128, submitted by Ms. Cortez Masto, Ms. Rosen, and Mr. Curtis, is an amendment intended to be proposed to H.R. 4016.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a new section (Sec. 131) to division C of the bill. It aims to require the Secretary of the Interior to provide a report to the appropriate committees of Congress regarding the ShakeAlert earthquake early warning system.

The report must describe any additional resources the United States Geological Survey needs to execute the technical implementation plan to expand the system to more western States, specifically including:
