What this amendment would do

SA 4125, submitted by Mr. Lujan, Mr. Wyden, and Ms. Cortez Masto, is an amendment to be proposed to amendment SA 3951 and bill H.R. 4016.

The amendment aims to change the "salaries and expenses" section under "Departmental Management" in title I of division B. It adds a requirement that at least $2,000,000 of that amount be used to support small and medium-sized businesses.

The purpose of these funds is to help those businesses with activities such as:

  • Navigating the trade and tariff policies of the United States Government that are rapidly evolving.
