What this amendment would do

SA 3925, submitted by Mr. Kelly and Ms. Warren, aims to make improvements to dependent coverage under the TRICARE Young Adult Program.

The amendment intends to change the bill by:

  • Expanding eligibility by striking paragraph (3) of subsection (b) of section 1110b of title 10, United States Code.

  • Eliminating the separate premium for a young adult by striking subsection (c) of that same section.

  • Making a conforming amendment to section 1075(c)(3) of that title.
