What this amendment would do
SA 3879, submitted by Ms. Cantwell, aims to change a previous act titled ``An Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14''.
The purpose of this amendment is to add a certification requirement to Section 40002(c)(3) of that act. Specifically, it adds the following:
- The Assistant Secretary must certify that reallocating specific frequencies for commercial use would not negatively impact the primary mission of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
