What this amendment would do
SA 3776, submitted by Mr. Sullivan, aims to change the Federal Credit Union Act (12 U.S.C. 1757a(c)) regarding the definition of a member business loan.
The purpose of this amendment is to add loans made to a veteran to the existing list of definitions. It also specifies that the term veteran carries the meaning found in section 101 of title 38, United States Code.
These changes are set to take effect 180 days after the date the Act is enacted.
